Lang Thal King & Hanson attorney Mickell Summerhays has been selected by the State Bar of Arizona as one of 16 members of the Bar Leadership Institute for 2023-2024.
As described on the State Bar website, the Bar Leadership Institute (BLI) is a "selective program designed to train the next generation of Bar members and community leaders. Participants are provided with networking opportunities, training and education, community awareness and other skills necessary to benefit the diverse communities in which they work, live and serve."
The BLI has three components: (1) leadership training and legal practice education; (2) community service; and (3) one year of post-BLI service in a professional or community organization.

She joined our firm in 2020 after serving as a judicial clerk at the Arizona Court of Appeals.
